León Febres Cordero

Born March 9 1931 is the President of Ecuador for 4 years from 10 August 1984 to 10 August 1988. He praised the support to stop the terrorism in Ecuador during his reign.

Febres Cordero government policies promoting economic liberalism. Initially, Febres Cordero tried to fix the economy, but an earthquake and the fall in oil prices in the country causing a major economic slowdown in the end of the reign. Some people do ministers accused of corruption.
